Madrona Home for Sale

This home in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle is absolutely darling! It was built in 1918 and has been nicely updated. The listing can be seen here and the asking price is $709,000. Before you have sticker shock, keep in mind that Seattle homes are expensive and this is actually a very good deal for that neighborhood!

Two french doors off the front porch and a side porch for your main entry. The light blue shingles to the house make it a little "beachy" which is appropriate as the Madrona beach is two blocks away.

This home has a surpisingly large entry with craftsman details on the stair bannister.

Beautiful fireplace that looks original to the home and a good layout of furniture for this room. So far the owners are doing a great job of staging.

Another view of the living room which shows off the two sets of french doors.

This is a very large dining room and the perfect size for entertaining. My only complaint would be the chandelier. It looks dwarfed in this room.

And on to the fabulous kitchen! The owners made the perfect selection of glass cabinets/open shelving, farmhouse sink, and I'm not sure if it's honed granite or soapstone, but it's perfect for the kitchen! They eliminated fussy window treatments in this home and kept it simple which was the right choice for this style of home.

The master bedroom is large and spacious with their very own fireplace. My only suggestion would be to spruce up the bedding for the sake of the real estate photos and selling potential.

This bathroom is very cute as they kept period details with the hexagon tiles, sink, and clawfoot bathtub.

This is the back of the house and it's set up for entertaining with the large deck, patio, and cafe lights. All in all, a very cute home and if I was in the market, I would definitely take a closer look at this home!
